Tom Daschle Withdraws Nomination

From the NY Times:
Daschle Withdraws as Nominee for Health Post

Former Senator Tom Daschle, President Obama's nominee for
health and human services secretary, has withdrawn from
consideration for the post over his belated payment of
$128,000 in federal taxes.

Right, wrong, you decide? All I know is this is the second candidate who has withdrawn after what was supposed to be the most stringent vetting process in human history...or something like that.

Haven’t you figured it out yet? This is Obama’s secret plan to balance the budget. He keeps nominating people who owe back taxes. The IRS collects the taxes (which they would have never done, but for the nomination) and then the nominee withdraws and a new nominee is put forward who also owes back taxes. A $100, 000 here, a $100,000 there, pretty soon we get to a trillion ($1,000,000,000,000). …well, maybe not…
